New Talent Program

Our new talent stylists have completed their requirement for California State Board for Cosmetology and possess a valid California Cosmetology License. 

Hue New Talent stylists are in advanced training prior to becoming a stylist on our floor.  They are at various points in their advanced training, but are all qualified to perform the services during the new talent service time.

All New Talent stylists are under the direction of a Hue Education Director.  Your stylist will be working closely with the Director to ensure quality of service however all work must be completed by the New Talent stylist.

Monday is Hair Cutting and Styling
We schedule New Talent hair cuts and styles on Monday morning between 9am and 12noon. Appointment times may vary but generally are at 9am, 10am or 11am -or- 9am and 10:30am.

Wednesday is Hair Coloring
Starting in April 2011, we schedule New Talent hair color on Wednesday morning between 9am and 12noon. Appointment times may vary but generally start at 9am.

What Can You Expect?
Please know that when booking with out New Talent stylists you are a part of a learning environment.  During your visit with us you will receive a consultation, complimentary ritual services, and your scheduled service.  Due to time constraints, the receipt of any service other than what was booked for may or may not be possible.  If you are unsure of the service you need, please speak with a New Talent stylist prior to booking your appointment.  You can still expect the world class customer service and the highest quality of technical work for the New Talent level.

All Services/Providers May Not Be Available. Check the Schedule
Our New Talent stylists are learning advanced techniques on specific hair color or cut services. For this reason, you may not be able to book a specific hair color or cut service on a requested date. We do appreciate your loyalty to specific New Talent Stylists however is it not guaranteed that your stylist will be available when you are booking.

Timing
Our new talent stylists are working at improving their service timing. We know that your time is valuable; however please be patient with our new talent as they work on service expediency. In other words, service timings are longer than seasoned stylists and your patience is appreciated. If you have time constraints, we recommend that you book a service with our floor stylists.

Cost of Service
The cost of your service is about half the cost of a typical service.  If additional service is needed, such as if your hair is extra long or abundant, your new talent stylist will advise you on the additional cost. If you have questions about pricing, please feel free to ask your stylist about service costs.

Quality Assurance
All Hue New Talent services are guaranteed. Please do not hesitate to provide any feedback on your service directly with your new talent stylist or the Director of Education. If the service provided is unsatisfactory to you, you may rebook with the same New Talent Stylist within one week of your original service for a complimentary redo. Services redone more than one week after the original service may not be eligible for a complimentary redo.
